Tour the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul, a beautiful Italian Renaissance building, featuring one of the world’s tallest unsupported marble domes. 

See the statue of Knute Nelson, a Norwegian immigrant and noted politician who was the first Governor of Minnesota. 
Knute Nelson (2. februar 1842–28. april 1923) var ein norsk-amerikansk politikar. Frå tronge kår i Noreg drog han med mora til USA som seksåring, og blei med tidene soldat under den amerikanske borgarkrigen, seinare jurist og gardbrukar og etterkvart også guvernør for Minnesota og amerikansk senator.

Alexandria is a city in and the county seat of Douglas County, Minnesota, United States.[3] First settled in 1858, it was named after Alexander and William Kinkead. The 2008 estimated population of Alexandria was 12,415.[4]
Alexandria is located near Interstate 94 (concurrent with U.S. Route 52 in this part of the state), along Minnesota State Highways 27 and29. Lake Carlos State Park is ten miles north of Alexandria.

Visit the early home of Knute Nelson. 

Tour the Runestone Museum that displays the controversial stone and its detailing of a Vikings journey to the area in 1362.

Fargo is the largest city in the U.S. state of North Dakota and the county seat of Cass County. In 2008, its population was estimated at 99,200, and it had an estimated metropolitan population of  200,102. Fargo, along with its twin city of Moorhead, Minnesota, as well as adjacent West Fargo, North Dakota and Dilworth, Minnesota, form the center of the Fargo-Moorhead, ND-MN Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The city of Fargo is the crossroads and economic center of a large portion of eastern North Dakota and a portion of northwesternMinnesota. Fargo is a retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and educational hub for the region. Fargo is home to North Dakota State University. The local newspaper is The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead. The city motto is "Gateway to the West". Fargo was founded in 1871.

0830: Stanse i St. Paul foran delstatsforsamlingens hus (”The Capitol) for å sestatuen av den norske innvandreren Knute Nelson, som var guvernør og senater fra Minnesota.

0900: Avgang fra St. Paul.

1130: Ankomst Alexandria, Minnesota. Lunsj.

1300: Besøk ved Knute Nelsons hus, nå et museum.

1400: Besøke Runesteinmuseet I Alexandria.
